- NSDL (Protean) Photograph: Must be 213 x 213 pixels, scanned at 200 DPI, and under 50 KB.
- NSDL (Protean) Signature: Must be 400 x 200 pixels, scanned at 200 DPI, and under 50 KB.
- Supporting Documents (Both Portals): Must be uploaded as a PDF. UTI allows a maximum file size of 2 MB, while NSDL strictly limits PDFs to a maximum of 300 KB. Both recommend an A4 page layout scanned at 200 DPI.
